The Early Years Foundation Stage explained...

Little Ozzies Nursery is an educational setting, and has very close links with SS Osmund and Andrew's RCPS.

We believe it is extremely important that each child has a seamless learning experience between the two settings, therefore both class teachers plan together to ensure the children are taught the same topics, according to their age and stage of development.

Our baby and toddler room leader also follows the EYFS curriculum to encourage their learning and development. Each activity is planned according to the individual child.

Development Matters in the

There are 3 Characteristics of Effective Learning and 7 prime and specific Areas of Learning and Development.

Your child will be given a learning journal when they start, and this will document their development throughout their nursery experience, through photographs, observations and assessments.
